I have chosen to do a package including a music video, a Digipak and an advert in a magazine for the new album. The genre I have chosen to do this for is 'Alternative'; this genre gives be the ability to be a bit more creative and free with my ideas.

Some of the songs I considered were...

Ed Sheeran - The City
This song by Ed Sheeran does not have a music video and has not yet been in the charts, therefore making it a suitable song to make a video for.
The song lyrics refer to back streets and a city enviornment, this would enable me to find a suitable setting to film the video.
It is quite a soft song, not the sort of song where dancers would be required, I would most likely use one actor.


Kate Nash - Don't You Want To Share The Guilt?
This song by Kate Nash fits my alternative genre and does not have a music video or chart history in the past five years, making it a suitable song to potentially create a music video for.
A variation of settings could be used depending in which way Ichoose to interpret the song. There is a variation of tempo's also enabling me to encooperate more technical skills.

Kate Walsh - Your Song
This song by Kate Walsh again does not have a chart history or a music video. This therefore makes it a suitable song to create a music video for.
The song is soft, and very alternative, it is open to inspiration with a variation of oppurtunities within the lyrics to use different scene settings and movement.
I would only need one actor in the video, it would be very much focused on them as the 'artist' and the feeling being given from the lyrics, giving the audience more of an understanding of the meaning of the song.
